This is a 2-day course consisting of a combination of Reiki & Shamanic drumming.  You will learn beautiful techniques for deep healing and become a Reiki Drum Practitioner. 

Reiki Drumming is a specialised method of healing that makes use of sound waves from the drum to introduce Reiki energy more deeply into a client’s energy field to facilitate deep relaxation and stress relief.

Drumming for healing and meditation is an ancient practice. In tribal cultures, the power of sound over the body and spirit is well known. Research shows that brain activity is affected by drumming, and there are studies showing how the sounds of a drum can help with illness and emotional trauma. Group drumming has been linked with improving the immune system, helping Alzheimer's patients, building self-esteem, and supporting recovering drug addicts and alcoholics. These studies are hinting at what has been known by shamanic practitioners over the ages, and shamans today still know as they practise what is often known as medicine drumming.

The shamanic drum is a guide, healer, teacher and friend that not only guides you on a special journey or inner exploration but when used by the Healing Drum Practitioner, can also impart its healing powers, wisdom and energies to others.

The Healing Technique Is Broken Down Into Three Main Types Of Session:

The basic Reiki Drum healing: This is a technique where you will learn to use the drum intuitively over the client’s body to give a deep healing treatment. This is then followed by a hands-on Reiki session to fully integrate the work and ground the client.

The mental/emotional reprogramming technique: This is a technique where you will learn to combine the intuitive drum treatment with the use of powerful positive affirmations to support growth

The Reiki Drum journey technique: With this technique, you will learn to use the drum in a way to take the client into a deep meditative state to receive insight, spiritual guidance and healing.
 

This is more than a professional development course. Much of the practical work is rooted in shamanic practices and on this course, you will experience several journeys and work on your own self-healing.

Students may find that they release blockages over the course of the weekend, and find it a profound experience of personal, spiritual development and deep healing.

 

Course requirements:
You will need to be at Reiki Level 2 or above as we will be working with the
Reiki symbols.  No previous drumming or musical experience is required. The
course will qualify you to work professionally as a Reiki Drum practitioner.

Course materials:
The course is accompanied by a course manual, worksheets and your very own 16" Remo Buffalo Drum (unless you are bringing your own drum).

All Courses Are Accompanied By A Certificate Provided By The Reiki Roadshow Academy.

£250 if you have your own drum (a non-refundable deposit of £100 is required 4 weeks in advance and the remaining balance of £125 to be paid either by Bank Transfer (7 days in advance of the course) or by cash on day 1 of your course.
